PRIVATE LESSONS:

MACHINE SEWING:

*It is encouraged but not necessary to bring your personal machine from home for any of these lessons.  We have machines in the studio that are available to you, but learning on the machine that you will use the most is an important consideration.

1 hour introduction to your sewing machine - $35

       This class teaches you the basic components of your machine. You will learn what the different symbols, knobs, and buttons mean. You will learn how to thread your machine, adjust your tension and use a straight stitch. 

1 hour beginner sewing class- $35

      This class is for students who know how to set their machine up and have used a straight stitch before.  With this private class you can choose which skills you would like to learn or practice from the list below. Scrap fabric will be provided.

HAND SEWING

Intro to hand sewing - $40

   If you have never picked up a hand sewing needle before, this is the class for you. This class will introduce you to a variety of stitches that have multiple applications.
